Soul Portal is an interactive art installation designed to explore themes of identity, perception, and interconnectedness.

Come experience and explore your many hidden faces at our self-reflection station. A fun visual experience using light to paint your face from various angles.

What colour is “E”, or “5”, or “Tuesday”? If you associate colours to numbers or letters, you have synesthesia, a perceptual phenomenon that involves a mixing of the senses. Come compare your colour associations with your SideBurn peers (yes, there is data!)

Launch an expedition to find The Grove nestled deep in the forest of carnivalesque colours. Let it draw you into a world within a world (within a world) with its puzzles and enigmas and interactive, immersive art experiences. Find gifts that reflect your true colours; play with light and sound; marvel in the mystery!

Spend some intimate time with art as you create your baby!

The fruit of your entrails is... an Exquisite corpse. Corpse : Inanimate Body. Exquisite: Taste good This installation invites you to literally and/or figuratively put your guts on the table to create an everlong collective art (aka an Exquisite corpse). A beheaded body lies, chocolate squirting from its neck, fruits coming out of its entrails. Feed your creativity, inspire others, let the art flow welcome to the revolution.

Looking for some guidance for your burn? We invite you to create a card to add to the Constellations Oracle Deck, get your cards read and leave with one that resonates with you. Created for last year's Sideburn, the deck has been to the Big Burn and is back with a new cards and insight to offer you. Adriana and nina jane will guide you through on the Disco Shower platform.

This is a workshop for kids (and their grown-ups)! Come by with your munchkins to our mini effigy-build workshop. We'll be making small, burnable sculptures together from 2-4pm at Creature Kids camp, and parade them to a firepit at 7:30pm to burn together. Come out for a chance to get hands on, get creative, and learn a bit about fire safety!

Naughty origami table where you can learn some new erotic origami shapes. The camp supplies the paper, instructions, and a table and sitting area.

Friday, 5-7pm Calling all queers and allies! Friday opening party at the Taverne. Choose from our prismatic panels and add your slice of queer joy to our collective art piece of faux stained glass. Create colorful jewelry for yourself or a friend! Get rainbows painted on your cute face! Colorful glitter cocktails will be served at the Taverne potion bar. Whisper the secret password "Unicorns" for the secret potion!

After dark, AfterGlow erupts! Dance under UV stars to deep, driving beats while your strokes of color transform the canvas in real time. AI-driven visuals evolve with your creativity, blending movement, music, and light into a living, breathing masterpiece.

When the pulse of the night softens, AfterGlow transforms into a dreamscape. Drift into a sea of ambient beats, gentle UV lights, and evolving AI visions of your art. Stretch out under the stars, add your final brushstrokes to the canvas, or simply breathe and exist in a place where creativity and stillness flow together. The night doesn’t end — it just changes tempo.
