Pronoun Palace

Step into the Pronoun Palace! This interactive display offers pronoun advocacy information and vital resources on how to cultivate safe and affirming spaces for transgender and nonbinary individuals. Learn crucial facts about the discrimination they face, engage in open conversation, create a personalized pronoun bracelet, and take away a sticker. Let's build understanding and allyship together.

Kids Mini Effigy Build

This is a workshop for kids (and their grown-ups)! Come by with your munchkins to our mini effigy-build workshop. We'll be making small, burnable sculptures together from 2-4pm at Creature Kids camp, and parade them to a firepit at 7:30pm to burn together. Come out for a chance to get hands on, get creative, and learn a bit about fire safety!

Family Friendly Talent Show

The Chromatic Carnival is full of creatures with many abilities and aptitudes, this is an opportunity to showcase your talents and be amazed by others! Hosted by Dr. Magnus Bombastus with performances by our team of world class performers and you are encouraged to sign up to join the Circus incredibly awesome and varied participants, come cheer, show us what you can do and help put on the show!

Dino Dance Party

Get ready to shake your tail (literally) at the coolest dino disco on the playa – family/kid friendly (and encouraged)! Whether you're a funky Veloci-rapper, a groovy Tricera-tops, or just a T. rex trying to two-step, this is your time to stomp, roar, and dance like it's the Mesozoic Era. Dino costumes highly encouraged—meteor impact not included. 🦕🔥🎶

Open Camp Community Kitchen!

A community kitchen in the Open Camp area. This is a leave no trace community kitchen. Making and sharing food is a long tradition of meeting new friends, having conversations, laughing and building community! Bring your ingredients, use the propane stove, pots and flat top griddle to cook your food and hopefully share some with others. If you use it, wash/clean it at your camp site and return it immediately so others can use it after.

Open Camp Community Kitchen Friday Night Family Potluck from 4pm-6pm

Come let's make and share food. Bring your ingredients to cook or your cooked dish to share with others at this family friendly community kitchen potluck around 4pm - 6pm on Friday. It's an opportunity to share food and meet others. Bring a chair to sit on if you like. Remember to leave no trace, so clean up your dishes back at your camp site.
