AfterBurn Report

An Afterburn Report is a formal report submitted by each regional Burning Man event (like those held around the world) after the event has concluded. It’s a key part of the Burning Man organization’s efforts to assess and document the outcomes of each event, and to share information and insights with the global Burning Man community.

Here’s a quick overview of what our report covers:

  • Event Overview: A summary of the event, including attendance, location, and dates.
  • Logistics and Infrastructure: Details about the logistics of the event and other operational aspects.
  • Community Engagement: Information regarding theme camps and art projects, including ticket allocations, grants, and notable creative contributions.
  • Challenges and Solutions: Challenges faced during the event (such as weather, safety issues, or logistical issues) and how they were addressed.
  • Financial Overview: A summary of the event’s financials, such as budget, expenses, and revenue, including ticket sales and any donations.
