Equity Ticketing

SideBurn strives to be accessible and inclusive. Our Equity Ticketing program offers two distinct streams to help reduce barriers to attending. You can apply for one or both using the form below.

The streams are:

Reduced-cost tickets

If you have a financial barrier, apply for a 75% discount on your ticket.

  • Apply early: applications must be approved before ticket sales (for the directed group sale, apply by February 25).
  • You’ll still need to participate in the ticket lottery (or the directed group sale for art grant recipients, theme camps, and select volunteers).
  • This discount does not apply to parking passes.
  • Ticket prices cannot be adjusted after tickets have been sent.

Deadline to apply: SOLD OUT

Equity Assist

If you require assistance with the activities of daily living (e.g., personal care, mobility), Equity Assist grants a second ticket for your support person along with your ticket offer.

You’ll still need to participate in the ticket lottery (or directed group sale for art grant recipients, theme camp members, or select volunteers).

Deadline to apply: SOLD OUT

Applications are typically reviewed within 72 hours; decisions will be communicated by email. All applications are confidential. For questions or accommodation requests, please contact equity@sideburn.ca.

Note: Applications for reduced-cost tickets are now closed but you can still apply for Equity Assist up until May 6th.
