Equity Ticketing

SideBurn strives for participation and radical inclusion for all those who wish to attend the event. Our Equity Ticketing program, available until May 6, 2025, offers two distinct streams with the hopes of making the event more accessible. You can apply for one or for both.

Important Update

We want to provide as many low-cost Equity Tickets as possible, but due to overwhelming demand we’re reaching our limit. As a result, the deadline to apply for Equity Tickets has been moved up to April 1. The Equity Assist stream will remain open until May 6. With any questions regarding equity or accessibility, please reach out to equity@sideburn.ca.

These streams are:

Reduced-cost tickets

You can apply for a reduced-cost ticket. You’ll still participate in the main sale / ticket lottery, but if your application is approved you’ll be given a voucher for 75% off your ticket. This does not apply to the cost of parking passes.

Deadline to apply: April 1

Equity Assist

If you require physical support assistance with the activities of daily living (personal care, physical functions, functional mobility, etc), you can apply for Equity Assist. This means that if you receive a ticket offer, you’re guaranteed a second ticket for a person to support you that bypasses the lottery.

Deadline to apply: May 6

Apply anytime before purchasing your ticket to have your equity application reviewed. All applications remain confidential. Should you have any questions or need additional accommodation, please do not hesitate to contact us at equity@sideburn.ca.
