Are you passionate about fire arts and safety? Sideburn is looking for a Fire Spinner Safety Lead to ensure our fire spinning activities are safe, inclusive, and unforgettable!
Role Overview
As Fire Spinner Safety Lead, you will:
- Oversee safety protocols for fire spinning zones and open practice areas.
- Develop and deliver fire safety training for participants.
- Review performance applications with the Fire Art Safety Team (FAST).
- Coordinate with performers and FAST to implement safety plans.
- Ensure proper fuel handling, prop inspections, and emergency procedures.
What We’re Looking For
- Fire spinning or safety experience (preferred, but not required).
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Passion for community collaboration.
- Availability for planning and training throughout the year.
- On-site support during the event weekend.
