Theme Camps

Theme Camps are the heart of SideBurn’s experience. Groups of SideBurners will camp together under the shared theme Chromatic Carnival, contributing their unique energy and creativity as a gift to the community.

A gift can take many forms–such as a DJ/dance floor, an art car, workshops, a costume exchange booth yoga sessions, a cozy plounge, and more. Let your creativity lead the way!

What’s a theme camp?

Theme Camps are groups of participants who transform their campsites to reflect their chosen themes, adding creativity and playfulness to the SideBurn experience. From striking and inviting visuals to communal spaces and activities, these camps create immersive offerings that define the spirit of the event.

Your camp’s location will be assigned based on your offerings and space requirements. As a registered Theme Camp, you’ll also be featured on event signage, maps, and in the What, Where, When (WWW) guide.
