An important ticketing update!
Ticket lottery registration (general sale) drops March 10–14!
Our special ticketing newsletter has landed. Read it here for key details to help you prepare for ticket sales.
An important ticketing update!
Everyone who signed up during the registration period has now received a ticket purchase offer. At this point, we are completely sold out!
Waitlist & Refund Information
Additional ticket offers will only be sent if cancellations occur as we get closer to the event, but none will be issued in the near future. Right now, approximately 300 people are in line for a ticket. If you’re joining the waitlist after today, there’s still a chance—but it will be a long shot. The final refund deadline is May 7th at 6 PM EDT (no exceptions).
RV passes
The RV pass lottery will be held on April 6, 2026, and we’ll notify the first-round selectees on that date. Learn more.
A Call for Community Support: Help Expand Equity Tickets – Pay It Forward!
We want to provide as many low-cost Equity Tickets as possible, but due to overwhelming demand, we’re reaching our limit. We’ve allocated 10% of tickets in the SideBurn budget for reduced-cost access, but we can only go beyond that with community support.
When purchasing your ticket, you can add a $25 Pay It Forward contribution (or more!) to help fund additional low-cost tickets if you choose to. Every contribution goes directly toward making SideBurn more accessible for those who need it. We’d love to give an Equity Ticket to everyone who applies, and with your help, we can get closer to that goal.

Getting a Ticket
Step 1: Ticket lottery registration
The registration window runs from March 10–14, 2026. Registering during this period ensures you’re included in the first lottery round.
Register using the name on your government-issued ID, activate your account, then log in and click Register here to enter the randomized ticket lottery.
Having trouble? If you’re unsure whether you’re registered or run into issues, please don’t create a second account or use a different email address. Contact ticketing@sideburn.ca, and we’ll help sort it out.
Step 2: Lottery results & ticket purchase
You have been selected! Now what? If you are selected in the lottery, you will receive a notification email on March 15, 2026. You can now buy one (1) ticket and one (1) vehicle pass for yourself within 72 hours of receipt of the email, including any tickets for minors under your supervision.
To confirm your purchase was successful, make sure that:
Your credit card was charged
You received a confirmation email
Your ticket appears in Pretix
If you do not purchase your ticket within 72 hours, it will be released back into the ticket pool. You can rejoin the waitlist by logging back in and following the same registration steps.
Oh no! I didn’t get selected! If you are not selected in the first round of the lottery, don’t panic! You’ll be added to the waitlist. Tickets that are turned down or refunded will be offered to people on the waitlist.
Step 3: Download your ticket
You’ll receive a PDF of your ticket by email after purchase. If you don’t see it, check your spam or junk folder or contact ticketing@sideburn.ca for help.
Please note that there are no ticket sales at the gate.
