Step 1: Ticket lottery registration

Update: Everyone who signed up during the registration period has now received a ticket purchase offer. At this point, we are completely sold out!

The registration window runs from March 10–14, 2026. Registering during this period ensures you’re included in the first lottery round.

Register using the name on your government-issued ID, activate your account, then log in and click Register here to enter the randomized ticket lottery.

Having trouble? If you’re unsure whether you’re registered or run into issues, please don’t create a second account or use a different email address. Contact ticketing@sideburn.ca, and we’ll help sort it out.

Step 2: Lottery results & ticket purchase

You have been selected! Now what? If you are selected in the lottery, you will receive a notification email on March 15, 2026. You can now buy one (1) ticket and one (1) vehicle pass for yourself within 72 hours of receipt of the email, including any tickets for minors under your supervision.

To confirm your purchase was successful, make sure that:

Your credit card was charged
You received a confirmation email
Your ticket appears in Pretix

If you do not purchase your ticket within 72 hours, it will be released back into the ticket pool. You can rejoin the waitlist by logging back in and following the same registration steps.

Oh no! I didn’t get selected! If you are not selected in the first round of the lottery, don’t panic! You’ll be added to the waitlist. Tickets that are turned down or refunded will be offered to people on the waitlist.
