Equity Ticketing

SideBurn strives for participation and radical inclusion for all those who wish to attend the event. Our Equity Ticketing program, available until May 6, 2025, offers two distinct streams with the hopes of making the event more accessible. You can apply for one or for both.

Important Update

The deadline to apply for reduced-cost tickets has now passed, and applications are closed. Due to overwhelming demand, we reached our limit and moved the deadline up to April 1. However, the Equity Assist stream remains open until May 6 for those who need support. If you have any questions regarding equity or accessibility, please contact equity@sideburn.ca.

These streams are:

Reduced-cost tickets

You can apply for a reduced-cost ticket. You’ll still participate in the main sale / ticket lottery, but if your application is approved you’ll be given a voucher for 75% off your ticket. This does not apply to the cost of parking passes.

Deadline to apply: Applications are now closed.

Equity Assist

If you require physical support assistance with the activities of daily living (personal care, physical functions, functional mobility, etc), you can apply for Equity Assist. This means that if you receive a ticket offer, you’re guaranteed a second ticket for a person to support you that bypasses the lottery.

Deadline to apply: May 6

Apply anytime before purchasing your ticket to have your equity application reviewed. All applications remain confidential. Should you have any questions or need additional accommodation, please do not hesitate to contact us at equity@sideburn.ca.

Apply

Note: Applications for reduced-cost tickets are now closed but you can still apply for Equity Assist up until May 6th.
