Art Fundraiser Planner (Toronto area)

We’re looking for someone in the Toronto area who can help us plan and execute a fundraiser event to fund even more art for SideBurn 2026! This role is highly self-directed. If you’re passionate about having more art at SideBurn and have event planning skills, this role could be for you!

What we’re looking for:

  • Motivated: Someone who can self-manage, while reporting to the Art Producer.
  • An ideas person: an art fundraiser can take many forms – it doesn’t have to be a party, we’re also open to other ideas!
  • Event planning: plan the fundraiser from the beginning to the end, with support from the Art Producer.
  • Volunteer organization skills: ability to coordinate volunteers beforehand and wrangle on-site.
  • Location: The Toronto area is ideal as our Art Producer lives elsewhere and isn’t able to see venues in person.

Deadline to apply

Apply by November 9, 2025, for priority review. Submissions will be accepted until the position is filled.

Time Commitment

This role is evolving, and the time commitment will vary depending on the nature of each event and decisions made in collaboration with the Art Producer.

If we hold a fundraiser, it must take place before our grant awards are announced in late January 2026. No date has been set.

How to Apply

If you would like to apply for this role, please fill out the application form below by November 9, 2025. Questions? Contact leanne@sideburn.ca.
