To spin fire with Chaos Conclave or as an Organized Conclave during the Effigy ceremony at SideBurn, your conclave lead must register their intent below by May 1, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Register Your Intent<\/a><\/p>\n

All fire performers must abide by the following rules:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Performers must bring their own fire safety equipment such as a wet-blanket or fire retardant blanket.<\/li>\n
  2. Performers must ensure there is at least one (1) person on safety for every two (2) performers active.<\/li>\n
  3. Performers must bring their own fuel (naphtha) and fuelling infrastructure.<\/li>\n
  4. Only naphtha (Coleman fuel, white gas) is the permitted fuel for organized conclave.<\/li>\n
  5. Performers must be sober before and during the conclave time, no exceptions.<\/li>\n
  6. SideBurn is a Leave No Trace (LNT) event. This means no spin outs, ground burns or spills.<\/li>\n
  7. Performers must keep 10 feet away from the effigy and perimeter at all times while handling a lit or extinguished prop.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Both Chaos Conclave and Organized Conclave performances will take place before the Effigy burn on Saturday, May 16, 2026.<\/strong> You will receive further logistical details for Effigy Night and a safety review for your performance. FAST has the responsibility of ensuring safety, they have final say on what is and what is not permitted.<\/p>\n
